Chart settings window has fourteen sections:

Data style

  • Style - describe price movements of a symbol. Also, choose chart style through context menu: Style-> [desired style].
  • Data type - Bid, Ask, Bid/Ask average, Last. Based on server settings Last or Bid/Ask type can be disabled.
  • Color settings for all data types.

View

  • Custom panel name - specify any name for the Chart main panel.
  • Window colors - set up chart background color and Background image. To select an image, check Background image box and click button, then choose the location of your desired image; a selected image remains active as far as it is located in the chosen repository.
  • Crosshair - enable and set up cursor lines, as well as font color of price/time labels.
  • Grid - enable and set up grid on the chart.
  • Time to next bar - set up font and color of figures that show remaining time to the next bar.
  • Additional - activate Chart toolbar, Scrollbar, Scrollbar chart preview, Drawing and Analysis toolbars. If Scrollbar option is checked, you can enable the Scrollbar chart preview.

Time scale

 

  • Appearance - set up time scale style.
  • Holes in the history - show holes on the chart if there is no history at that particular moment.
  • Show extended session - show bars from extended sessions on chart.
  • Highlight extended sessions - highlight all extended sessions that were set on the server for the current symbol.
  • Highlight date - display separator lines for: Days, Weeks, Months, and Years.

Price scale

  • Scale type - select the type of scale price and start price for the chart: Absolute, Relative and Logarithmic.
    • Absolute - display the price scale in the absolute units.
    • Relative - display the price scale in the relative units; set a starting point as: first point of the screen visibility, point of the day opening, and starting point of the history.
    • Logarithmic - logarithmic scale representation, starting point can be set the same as for the relative scale.
  • Zoom - choose between Manual and Automatic. In manual mode, changes can be made to the vertical price scale. Automatic mode is based on the visible prices, but can also incorporate Indicators, Orders, Drawings and the day's High/Low prices.
  • Scale markings - set up custom grid on price scale, set minimal distance in ticks and custom spacing between grid lines.
  • Appearance - set up price scale style.
  • Highlight prices:
    • Price indicator - set up active price marking as:
      • Scale marker
      • Scale marker with line
      • None
    • Ask price color
    • Last price color
    • Bid price color
  • Spread type - set up the way to display spread:
    • None
    • Area
    • Line (Bid and Ask)
    • Line with price (Bid and Ask)
  • If spread type is None - show single price indicator, depending on chart type (Bid, Last, Ask etc.)
  • Spread area color - color of spread area.
  • Previous close line - type and color. Only for Time, Tick, Price range and Heikin Ashi aggregation types.
  • Day High/Low lines - type and color. Only for Time, Tick, Price range and Heikin Ashi aggregation types.

 


Visual trading

 

  • Open positions - display opened positions on chart and set up line style.
  • Working orders - display working orders on chart and set up line style.
  • Filled orders - display filled orders on chart.
  • Additional - display active positions/orders on the left side of the Chart area.

Choose buttons that will be displayed on the Order entry panel and how the panel is going to be displayed (narrow or wide).
